Felipe Valdes (he/they) is a Colombian-Chilean American illustrator based in Queens, New York.

Inspired by his experience as a native New Yorker, Latin-American culture, and music, he draws upon themes of finding beauty in the rhythm and character of the city. His body of work contains visual nods to underground comics, golden-age animation, pre-Columbian sculpture, and theatrical stage design.
